According to the study by „Cafe Monitor ARC Rynek i Opinia”, more than half of Poles drink coffee outside the home, and currently we drink it most often when refueling or shopping in a local store. Changes in consumer behavior accelerate the implementation of automation by entrepreneurs. The new format of self-service gastronomy is becoming a solution not only for large retail chains, but also for convenience stores and the entire HoReCa industry.
Technological progress and acceleration of digitization affect the dynamic development of the entire technological sector, in particular self-service solutions. SelfMaker constructors in cooperation with Primulator (the leader of professional solutions for the HoReCa segment) experts, have created a fully automated gastronomic point. It is a place where the customer can prepare their favorite coffee, order a fresh meal from the gastronomic offer or purchase vending products or a store offer. SelfCoffee will also work in large-format stores, where the “shop-in-shop” is an increasingly common sales model, which in this case is based on a combination of a cafe and a store. More and more often, smaller retail stores are also expanding their offer with gastronomy or a cafe. Thanks to the possibility of individual configuration, SelfCoffee is one organism serving many store areas. On the self-service screen, the customer can order a meal that will be prepared by the store’s staff, buy a coffee, and pay for purchases made at the point.
The assumption of the self-service catering point is its flexibility, which allows it to be adapted to virtually any place in which it is located and to any type of business. The individual modules of the device can be personalized, thanks to which it can also be successfully used in office buildings, employee canteens or passenger service points, such as stations or airports.
